I believe the style is sometimes called 'the triangle', but I call it the stealth shave, because it's a pubic shave that can go unnoticed to the casual observer, say in a swimming pool locker room. Only your lover and your gynecologist will know it's there. Or actually, not there.

Here's some youtube footage of a Japanese TV program from way back in 2008 looking at pubic stencils, or as they delicately call them "under-hair templates". There are stencils for the 'Triangle', the 'Heart', a square or wide landing strip, and even a 'Keyhole'. The women all seem rather bemused.

A number of sites and blogs flagged a new variation on the vajazzle: fox fur and feathers.

Apparently these are new products from CompletelyBare, a spa in New York. I checked their website but they're oddly absent. I thought that perhaps they had proved to tickley for the women of New York. However, the treatment does appear to exist. Here's a video to prove it:

Nude photography artist Ludmila Foblova presents a startling film of the shaving, re-growth and styling of her pubes in a stop-motion movie made over 150 days: Short beaver's life

The video shows the artist with various pubic styles, starting off with a neat chevron style, or perhaps Fleur de Lys, to Yul Brynner, returning to full growth, a bright red hair dye, and finally a quick short back and sides.
